Dear ICOM MUSIC Community,

Although the Board took a short break for the summer, there were still quite a few activities that took place over the past few months. Here is the latest issue of the recurring ICOM MUSIC News with useful information and a report of recent activities.

Announcements:
Registration is currently open for the 27th ICOM General Conference, taking place 11-17 November in Dubai. Members are encouraged to take advantage of the Early Bird discount, which has been extended to 14 September. Online registration will open on 30 September. The Scientific Committee is in the process of finalising the programme of our IC’s joint conference with IC MEMOHRI. More details to follow soon.

The call for nominations for ICOM MUSIC Board nominations is open until 12 September. If you would like to nominate someone, or yourself, to run for the Board, please email your nomination to cimcim.secretary@gmail.com.
